I was going through the motions of life as a first time mom when one day, I looked in the mirror and didn't recognize myself. I had no spark, life, and had gained a ton of weight. My hair was a mess. I lived in oversized shirts and sweatpants because that was all that fit, and I didn't have "time" to take care of myself. Somewhere along the lines of nurturing and caring for my son, I had forgotten to do the same for myself.
I was depressed, overweight, and irritable. The year was 2021, and I realized that for the first 1.5 years of my son's life, I had been in survival mode. Who even am I anymore? What are my hobbies? What do I do for fun? I'm in my twenties but I'm living like I'm in my fifties!
Those were the thoughts that ran through my mind shortly before I decided to take control of my life and prioritize my own health and well-being. How did I even get here? I used to be fit. I used to go out, sing, and dance. I used to eat healthy, and now I'm none of those things. I love my baby but I hate who I've become. This can't be the life God has for me. How do I get back....to me?

After spending some time feeling sorry for myself, I realized that nothing would change unless I changed.
I got to this place because of my actions, I thought. That means I can get to where I want to be and find myself again too. I need to be more disciplined, manage my time better, and make myself a priority again. This doesn't mean I don't love my baby. In fact, by doing this, I can show up better for him because he'll have a happy mom instead of a sad, depressed, and overwhelmed one.
I strongly believe in ✨Romans 8:28✨ , which says that "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose"

By His grace, I realized that I could put my Master's Degree in Health and Wellness Coaching to use on myself by implementing the positive psychology and change management principles I learned during the two year program.
I graduated in August 2019, right before I got pregnant, and thought my degree was a waste and of no use. BUT GOD had a plan and was working it out for my good.
By making practical, sustainable changes in my diet, exercise, and mindset, I not only shed the weight (80+ pounds!!), but I regained the confidence, energy, and joy that I thought I had lost forever.
This transformational journey ignited a deep passion to help other moms (especially those feeling stuck, exhausted, or discouraged) find balance, reclaim their health, and restore their sense of self.
My coaching practice is built on a foundation of positive psychology, Biblical principles, and holistic wellness. I encourage my clients to practice discipline, eat nourishing whole foods, and find ways to move their bodies that they enjoy—because a joyful, healthy body is a gift from God that we need to steward well..
When you work with me, you will receive a balanced approach that blends evidence-based wellness strategies with spiritual wisdom from Scripture (the Holy Bible).
